Sciforma Announces Inaugural User Group Event for U.S. and Canadian Customers
LOS GATOS, CA. April 18, 2011-Sciforma Corporation, the Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) technology visionary, today announced that its first user group event, for U.S. and Canadian customers, will take place on April 21 via an online webinar. The three-hour event will examine the new features of the upcoming fourth release of Sciforma's software, and provide an overview of a new user collaborative platform. The attendees will be given access to the platform, which will enable them to download documents (white papers, release notes) and share ideas about the software. They will also have the opportunity to create and participate in forums.
In addition, two Sciforma customers, NETGEAR and Societe De Transport De Montreal (STM), will provide case studies on their use of PSNext and how the platform solved key project management challenges. NETGEAR utilizes PSNext to schedule and monitor each phase of a project, track internal costs, structure the document approval workflow and generate information summary dashboards for executive management. STM leverages the capabilities of PSNext to support its portfolio management processes, and to ensure that each project performs by constantly monitoring the delivered benefits that are unique to each project, and defined at the corporate level.
Sciforma's goal is to ensure efficiency to its customers in their everyday work. Efficiency is reached through two complimentary aspects: to be able to translate customers' management requirements into action and to offer to all users simple and powerful interfaces.
Sciforma's fourth release provides customers with a very powerful workflow engine, which is the administrator's control center. Users have access to workspaces, which are job-dedicated interfaces: data they need, tools they need, and the job related help they need are provided in a natural and effective way. This magic combination provides high efficiency for every user in his day-to-day work, and allows the company to easily transform management principles and processes into action. The new, user-friendly interface dramatically improves the tool's ease of use and provides an enhanced user experience;.
