Paris (July 20, 2021). Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software provider Sciforma has signed a three-year contract with the Exploration and Production (E&P) division of TotalEnergies SE. One of the world’s top five energy companies, TotalEnergies’s E&P division covers oil, gas, solar, renewable, and bioenergy.

TotalEnergies was already using Sciforma’s PPM solutions for RFM (Request for Modification) in the UK, the Netherlands, and Qatar. The E&P contract came along after a successful six-month pilot in TotalEnergies’ Deep Water product line.

“TotalEnergies’ challenge was to more efficiently centralize the different E&P product lines in a high-performance project management and resource allocation solution, from the discovery through execution phases,” explained Stéphane Louit, Head of Global Sales at Sciforma. “The Sciforma PPM solution integrates their exploration studies to a common but customizable platform. As a result, they can be more efficient and responsive to client expectations.”

Across a large international project portfolio, TotalEnergies E&P prides itself in safely delivering projects on time with low technical costs. Integrated project organization combines geosciences, drilling, facilities, and operations engineers, all fully accountable for project deliverables and deadlines.

The contract includes Sciforma’s implementation services and support, as well as an interface for measuring customer satisfaction. Furthermore, under the terms of the contract, other divisions in the TotalEnergies group that want to contract with Sciforma for PPM and SPM solutions will be able to do so at the same rate as the E&P division.
