Navigate Economic Upheaval with Confidence

Discover how Project Portfolio Management helps organizations stay resilient, flexible, and forward-focused — even when the future is uncertain

About this eBook

When the economy is uncertain, it’s easy to slip into panic mode – slashing budgets, delaying decisions, and focusing on the short term. But the most resilient businesses take a different approach. They use strategic Project Portfolio Management to stay ahead of the curve, adjust with purpose, and turn disruption into a competitive edge.

In this updated and expanded eBook, PPM pioneer Harvey A. Levine draws on over six decades of expertise to explore how leaders can rethink risk, manage uncertainty, and use PPM to support smarter resource allocation, more strategic project selection, and faster scenario response.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Identify and protect your most critical and strategic resources
  • Differentiate between upheaval and uncertainty – and adapt to both
  • Revisit and revise strategic plans without losing focus
  • Use your PPM systems to test scenarios, rebalance portfolios, and communicate priorities
  • Turn downturns into opportunities by re-evaluating stalled or sidelined projects

Whether you're a PMO leader, portfolio manager, or executive decision-maker, this eBook will help you use your PPM framework not just to weather volatility – but to thrive through it.
